GOAL OF THE POSITION The role of Sales Representative at TVH is to promote and sell the range of products and services available through TVH to current and potential customers. This role will actively collect and report on industry trends, changes and market demands and proactively grow and increase the TVH presence in the ASEAN market. A key component of the position will be to identify, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers. The Sales Representative will strive to achieve maximum sales profitability and market growth within their assigned territory by effectively selling TVH products or services. RESULT AREAS/CORE ACTIVITIES Identify market opportunities within the assigned region Develop strategies to progress new business contacts Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations Provide analysis of territory/market potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers to TVH Actively promote promotions to customers through face to face, telephone or email communications Utilise Salesforce & Showpad to plan and report on visits Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints Coordinate sales effort with Marketing Manager , Sales/ Branch Manager, and Sales Advisors as required Advise management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitor activities, and potential for new products and services. The SPRM (Sales Performance Review Meeting) is to be the primary report to feed information to the management and greater team. Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consult with marketing and technical service areas. Maintain regular contact with Branch manager and ensure they are immediately made aware of all significant trends, market intelligence, issues and opportunities Provide prompt, efficient and professional processing of customer orders and enquiries at all times Strive to always provide accurate offers with the right parts, first time Actively look for upsell and cross sell opportunities and present these to the customer Ensure all orders are processed carefully and quickly Strive to meet sales targets Other tasks as specified by your manager. FORMAL PRE-REQUISITES FOR THE POSITION Min Diploma in Business Administration Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in either sales in the spare parts related industries or a technical position would be an advantage Proficient in use of MS Office Applications Posses good communication and interpersonal skills Excellent communications and negotiation skills Ability to determine solutions for customers using a consultative sales approach This position may require travel to sites as required
