Position Overview



As a

Sales Development Representative (SDR)

, you will play a key role in generating and qualifying residential leads to support the sales team in Malaysia. You will be the first point of contact for potential customers -- engaging inbound inquiries, conducting discovery calls, and setting up advisory appointments for the sales associates. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, strong communication skills, and a desire to grow within the renewable energy industry. No prior solar experience is required -- full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities



Manage all inbound calls, messages, and customer inquiries. Conduct discovery and qualification calls to identify high-potential leads. Present Rent-to-Own solar plans and drive conversions to advisory or consultation calls. Assist in preparing preliminary rooftop solar designs and client proposals. Schedule and coordinate appointments for sales associates to conduct advisory sessions or site surveys. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to enhance sales processes and customer experience. Support new initiatives and ad-hoc projects as part of the growing team.

Requirements



Minimum

Diploma

or higher qualification.

1-2 years of experience

in sales or customer service (preferably in a phone-based or inside sales role). Proficient in

Google Suite

(Docs, Sheets, Slides). Fluent in

English

and

Bahasa Melayu

; proficiency in

Mandarin

is an added advantage. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Positive attitude toward handling challenges and rejections with professionalism. Highly organized with strong multitasking and prioritization skills. Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a

fast-paced startup
