Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis in the logistics sector to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company\'s presence in the logistics market.
  • Analyze customer logistics needs and design tailored solutions.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
  • Generate new business leads by leveraging industry contacts, attending trade shows, and utilizing digital marketing strategies.
  • Identify and connect with key decision-makers within logistics companies and potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns for lead generation.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with logistics clients, understanding their supply chain challenges and providing innovative solutions.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Sales Presentations and Negotiation:
  • Develop compelling sales presentations highlighting the company\'s logistics capabilities and value proposition.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions, contracts, and pricing agreements with clients.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and reports to track performance against targets.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, market dynamics, and challenges.
  • Utilize RM systems to manage and document all sales activities and client interactions.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service, and technology, to align strategies and ensure successful service delivery.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
  • Stay abreast of logistics industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
  • Attend logistics conferences, trade shows, and networking events to stay connected with industry developments.
Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage budgets related to sales and business development activities in the logistics sector.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies to maximize ROI in sales initiatives.
