Objectives of the Position

Digitalization will be a true part of BASF's DNA that creates new exciting customer experiences and business growth as well as drives efficiencies in processes. Global Digital Services is supporting BASF business in Digitalization transformation. Our mission is to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF, providing innovative, global and high-quality digital products and services through a strong agile culture. The Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF.

In this role, you will be part of a global team which is responsible for the digitalization of pricing within BASF. Pricing is one of the most important parts in the area of Marketing and Sales. Together we drive customer centricity and BASF success with digital innovations and transformations.

Main Tasks

Digitization / innovation

Act as a Global / Regional representative of BASF Digital community, supporting BASF Digital roadmap, helping GDS to identify, execute and implement customer-centric digital solutions in an actionable and measurable way.

Be part of a global team responsible for rollout and further development of our new Configure Price Quote (CPQ) framework. The underlying technology is from the market leader in this area PROS. Main activities are:

• Consulting the business with focus on digitalization in the pricing area
• Rollout of the CPQ Pricing Framework to the different business units
• Discuss and Translate business requirements into IT
• Active role in an agile and self-organized Dev-Ops team

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer science, Software Engineering or comparable from an accredited college or university is required

Working Experience

Minimum 3+ years' experience in working with Salesforce/ PROS

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

• Experience in quoting solutions preferred PROS CPQ (Insights|Control|CPQ|Integrate)
• Experience in agile Software development
• Passion for working in a team
• Analytical capabilities
• Experiences in working in global / virtual teams/projects
• An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to foster a positive and energized culture
• Excellent judgement. Able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid, logical decisions in a fast-moving company.
• A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.
• Experiences in working in global / virtual teams/projects
• Technical skills:

• Salesforce Configuration
• PROS (CPQ/Control/ Insights/Integrate)
