The Role

The System Administrator is a techno / functional operations role in the Indirect team, under Global Supply Management. The role encompasses implementation, enhancements, changes of Ariba P2P. The candidate will be an experienced business analyst / solution architect with a detailed knowledge in Ariba P2P in the hosted Ariba application (Saas) integrated with SAP. The Ariba System Administrator will work on system support.

Responsibilities include maintaining/customizing the Ariba system and assisting with system defect identification, assisting new users with training and questions, identifying, testing and implementing process changes within Ariba. Includes core administration, issue resolution, configuration and enhancements of the P2P solution to meet our strategic business initiatives as well as working closely with the IT team, Buyers and Ariba on the technical solution and approach.

In this role you will

• High proficiency with Ariba P2P

• P2P - Procure to Pay, CIF catalogs set up (internal and external), direct punch out catalogs with suppliers and services procurement.
• Maintaining company profile information/system notifications settings
• Configuring order processing/purchase order rules
• Maintaining/updating Ariba Network transactions and transmission rules
• Managing/setting catalogue validation preferences
• Designing Ariba contract and sourcing templates
• Generating Ariba Network reports
• System Management - Testing and Troubleshooting
• Master Data Management / Integrations
• Dashboard Development
• Workflow Management
• The Administrator will work with internal and external team members, to implement, enhance, develop, and configure excellent system functionality, workflows, UI, Catalogs, and technical connectivity to support the comprehensive Procure to Pay Lifecycle. This will include all processes through the cycle of formal upgrades including design, configuration and testing (functional, regression and acceptance). The Administrator will assist in meeting with business and/or technology owners to gather information to determine business requirements, project parameters and specifications.

• The Administrator will:

• Support with issue resolution within Ariba Buying & Invoicing and SAP ERP, process improvements and training
• Liaison with Ariba and the Entegris teams (SAP ECC & Basis, Global Supply Chain, Finance)
• Tracking/resolution of all break/fix issues within Ariba
• Monitoring/managing Cherwell incidents and change requests
• Monitoring/managing Ariba-related optional and mandatory updates, working closely with the IT team to determine the testing/move to production
• Bring P2P management best practices and key trends to continually drive innovation, optimize performance and efficiency, and improve user experience

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or other related area of study preferred
• At least 6 years application development and/or configuration/procurement/technology experience or equivalent technical procurement related experience required.
• Proficient in technical writing (Test scripts, Functional/Technical requirements, etc.)
• Possesses in depth knowledge of Procurement/Spend Management systems and business processes
• Complete understanding of the interface process between SAP and Ariba.
• Team player, ability to work with internal teams to provide the best end user experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to think about business problems in new ways and clarify key issues in complex situations
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business issues.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive in an extremely fast-paced and changing environment
• Possess the business acumen to understand business issues and determine if the issue can be corrected through Ariba configurations or if the issue must be corrected through IT intervention.
• Experience as a liaison between the users and the IT team; ability to explain business issues and liaise with the IT team when required to correct the issue; experience developing use cases in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
