Job Description
SAP Basis administrators are generally responsible for managing an SAP environment on a day-to-day basis. Their responsibilities typically include configuring, monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting the environment, as well as scheduling and running the TMS.
- SAP Basis Administration.
- Responsible for the management of SAP Basis, IBM Power Series SUSE and other Linux system infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation and optimum performance.
- Administration of Linux Operating system, SAP HANA Database, Storage, opened source middleware and databases.
- Implementation and management of IT projects.
- Responsible for contingency planning, disaster recovery strategy and solution.
- Compliant to existing process and procedure and dealing with PWC and Internal Audit for audit.
- Possess a Degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science.
- Minimum 3 years\' experience in administration of SAP Basis, SUSE Linux, Linux administration and HANA with minimally 3 years\' experience in a managing team size of 3 or above.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills .
- Self-starter, proactive and resourceful.
- Preferably with experience on various operating system, information security, auditing process, server and storage technology.
