Introduction
In this role, you will do Technical Management, Quality Assurance and development the framework in a highly integrated and complex SAP Business Intelligence (BI) and non-SAP-BI environment. In this transformation you will be integrational part, designing the framework, bring it to life already during the project and establishing the stable operation.
BASF has begun its transformation journey from a single global corporate reporting system to a modernized landscape built on SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere. Within our Business Intelligence Core Platform team, you will play an active role in the continuous development and operation of BASF's group-wide reporting platforms based on these next-generation technologies. We also embrace the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) as it becomes available, and actively support its adoption to enhance efficiency and innovation within our area of responsibility.
Responsibilities
In BASFs path forward for Business Intelligence you, together with the team, will be in active several areas of BI Core Platforms:

• Within the Technical Management you will measure the pulse of the systems and collaborate with the SAP Basis team on the servers in BASF's private cloud.
• With your experience you keep the systems running smoothly. In addition, you regularly run maintenance tasks, do continuous service improvement, housekeeping and execute / support test activities. For cloud services, like SAP Datasphere you learn with the team how to run it most efficiently
• Your own software developments create value in projects; therefore, your programming skills are appreciated.
• Additionally, you take over the management of developments in cooperation with internal colleagues or external service providers.
• You also contribute to the central topics like master data management and authorization. Also, you create and maintain rules and guidelines relevant for the DevOps community.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in IT or computer science with a focus on business administration. Alternatively, you have a comparable completed vocational training with several years of IT experience in various functions.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in IT related topics.
• You have experience and passion for operating in SAP BW/4HANA backend
• In-depth knowledge of HANA native development
• You like programming, best you already do hands-on in ABAP / ABAP OO in a BW environment, or it would be easy for you to learn this
• You can communicate clearly in English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of native SQL, SAP AMDP as well as about SAP HANA data bases.
• Experience working agile with a DevOps mindset.
• In-depth knowledge of HANA native development
• Knowledge in frontend-tools for SAP BW like SAP Analytics Cloud or Analysis for Office
• Experience in SAP Datasphere is an advantage
