Job Description

A SEA Sales Manager will be responsible for the Specialty Chemical business with a focus on the Australian mining market. He / She will serve as a pivotal link between the company and Australia market to ensure strong customer relationship, facilitate key account management and participate in industry networks.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market presence in Southeast Asia, with a primary focus on the Australian mining sector.
• Utilise established network and expertise to drive sales and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Identify and capitalise on opportunities within the engineering plastic, mining, and cable industries by leveraging on technical understanding of polymer science.
• Drive new business initiatives, contributing to the overall growth of the company in the region.
• Demonstrate a willingness to travel extensively to engage with clients, attend industry events, and strengthen business connections.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and industry professionals.
• Leverage on technical background in polymer science to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to enhance our product offerings.
• Work closely with regional leadership to develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company\'s overall objectives.
• Contribute to the formulation of long-term plans for market expansion and product development.

Global listed MNC|Regional exposure

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of minimum 10 years in sales, specifically within the Australian mining market.
• Technical background in polymer science or related fields.
• Extensive network within the engineering plastic and mining industries in Australia.
• Demonstrated success in business development and market expansion.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Southeast Asia and Australia.
