Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities \xe2\x80\xa2 To obey all lawful commands \xe2\x80\xa2 To work under the supervision of the Chief Officer \xe2\x80\xa2 To read and understand all Company\xe2\x80\x99s policies. (In the event of language difficulties or poor knowledge, the Master or the Department Heads shall explain the relevant company\xe2\x80\x99s policies to them) \xe2\x80\xa2 To familiarize with the Life Saving and Fire Fighting facilities of the vessel soon after joining \xe2\x80\xa2 To maintain all personal protective equipment made available by the Company in good condition at all times and defects to be notified to the Chief Officer immediately \xe2\x80\xa2 To assist in loading, unloading, discharging, or receipt of any equipment, supplies and cargo when ordered to do so \xe2\x80\xa2 To stand as helmsman and to act as a lookout when performing watch keeping duties as directed
