Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

  • Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menus
  • Fill in for the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
  • Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
  • Interact with customers, specifically providing a welcoming and satisfying grilling service to customers.
  • To ensure daily operations are carried out smoothly in accordance with hygiene, cooking standard & recipes follow the SOP.
  • To responsible for kitchen team task arrangement (Food preparation & cooking, service fulfillment & food quality).
  • To responsibility to check, audit & training the kitchen team to ensure the entire kitchen operation run smoothly.
  • To responsible for the inventory management (spoil, wastage, freshness checking, quantity checking) to fulfill sales target & customer satisfaction.
  • To responsibility to take care all type of necessary equipment to conduct the kitchen daily operation smoothly. Any operation break down, need to report immediately.
  • To responsible to ensure the food storage with compliance according to safety practices to achieve the purpose of food safety & freshness.
  • To participant in all part of training, meeting, & any important in house activities where according the company\xe2\x80\x99s yearly calendar which approve by MD office.
  • To attend daily restaurant\xe2\x80\x99s CYOREI which conduct by Outlet Manager.
  • Perform any other duties that request by the superior.
Job Requirements:
  • At least Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
  • Mandarin & English Speaker
  • Have more than 6 years\' experience in F&B industry or hotel line.
  • Experience in Japanese food department will be added advantage.
  • Proven experience as Head Chef.
  • Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management.
  • Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills.
  • Up to date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
  • Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS System)
  • Credentials in health and safety training.
