The Role:
Leading a team that is responsible for GL processes in the EBSC Finance


In this role you will:


Shared Service Center Transition

  • Partner with integration project manager as well as EBSC Finance Senior Manager and local region Finance Directors and team to execute and deliver all transition activities requirements
  • Track Shared Services transition to meet all timelines and required deliverable
  • Drive and develop End User Procedure documents for processes that are transitioned to the EBSC Finance
  • Work cross functionally to review the processes to be migrated to the EBSC Finance, ensure that all process handoffs are carried out smoothly
  • Drive peer review of the process migrated to ensure controls are robust and are approved
  • Design and recommend service opportunities for EBSC Finance



General Ledger and Accounting
  • Accuracy of financial reporting, timely completion of finance close activities
  • Participating in knowledge transfer and process documentation to secure a safe transfer of work from Finance departments abroad to the EBSC Finance;
  • Providing leadership to a given General Ledger / Record to Report team;
  • Ensuring that appropriate General Ledger processes, controls, policies and procedures are in place and comply with Entegris standards;
  • Driving process standardization and improvement initiatives;
  • Being a first point of contact for local finance organizations served;
  • Leading a team that is responsible for GL processes in the EBSC Finance
  • Maintaining strong business partnership with regional and corporate Finance Teams
  • Participating in the establishment of the SLA for the Record to Record / General Ledger area with the countries, in line with overall EBSC Finance Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
  • Monitoring and managing performance in the processes, ensuring that SLA\xe2\x80\x99s and business objectives are met and that team resources are allocated effectively;
  • Implementing methods and control tools to ensure stable and high quality in the provided service;
  • Resolution of delivery problems and dealing with complex client questions that your team members cannot resolve themselves.
  • Timely and properly escalating to EBSC Finance Senior Manager and International Accounting Senior Director and/or Regional Finance Directors and Managers problems that reach beyond the scope of the migrated GL activities for the country;
  • Contributing to periodic meetings with other functional leaders;
  • Recruiting, monitoring, coaching and supporting your team members to meet operational plans, development opportunities and career goals;
  • Review and approve journal entries
  • Supports all aspects of internal and external audits
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.



Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
  • Degree or equivalent combination training and experience; a minimum 5 years progressive experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to make decisions and problem solve based on SAP knowledge and in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrates a willingness to complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned in support of the General Ledger Team, Finance department, Business Partner and overall organization
  • Experience in SAP, Power BI and Advanced Excel
