Section Manager
Job Description
1. To work closely with Production and other Engineering groups to minimise inconvenience due to scheduled and unscheduled shutdown of Plant machinery.
2. To assist set up and commision new plant / machinery with in specified period.
3. To plan, propose and implement ideas to further improve the existing facilities.
4. To help plan, propose and budget for future facility, spare parts and manpower requirement, working closely with RSM Plant and Purchasing sections.
5. To study specify and occasionally supervise Preventive Maintenance / overhaul of each machine to ensure economical yet efficient operation.
6. To liaise with Japan / Vendors for mutual technical transfer and keeping abreast with technology improvement.
7. To assist the superior in other miscellaneous projects which may arise from time to time.
8. To lead, motivate and guide a group of technical staff in performing their duties to achieve the company set targets.
9. To assist Environmental and OSH Management Representative in performing Environmental and OSH Management Audit and activities.
10. To promote and participate in company programs like KIT, QAC, Fire Fighting, RRC, Cleanliness & 5S Improvement, Safety And Accident Anticipation Campaigns.
11. To actively participate in efforts in implementing all requirements of related management systems, i.e. ISO 9001 and IATF16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 subscribed by the company
