Job Description

Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises and its occupants. Enforce access control procedures by checking identification, permits, and authorizations of individuals entering the premises. Prevent unauthorized entry and potential security breaches by maintaining a strong physical presence and vigilance. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergencies, and take appropriate action as per established protocols. Conduct regular inspections of the property, checking for signs of damage, suspicious activities, or safety hazards. Monitor surveillance cameras and other security systems to keep a close eye on the property at all times. Report any security-related issues, disturbances, or incidents to the appropriate authorities or supervisors. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries and directions. Maintain accurate records and log entries of activities, incidents, and observations during the shift. Follow established procedures for locking and unlocking doors, gates, and access points at specified times. Collaborate and communicate effectively with other security personnel and team members to ensure a coordinated security effort. Stay updated on security protocols, emergency response procedures, and safety regulations. Perform routine checks on security equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly. Maintain a professional and alert demeanor throughout the shift to deter potential security threats. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the site's security policies and enforce them consistently. Remain aware of potential security risks and adapt security measures accordingly. Respond to requests for assistance or support from other departments or personnel, as needed.
