Proven experience as a security guard or in a related role preferred.
Familiarity with security operations, procedures, and equipment (CCTV, access control, etc.).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.
High level of integrity, vigilance, and attention to detail.
Minimum education: Secondary school (SPM or equivalent).
Possession of a valid security license (if required by local law).
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, theft, or safety hazards.
Monitor CCTV surveillance systems and alarm systems to identify potential security risks.
Control access to buildings and facilities by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes.
Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents, accidents, or security breaches, and take appropriate action.
Write and submit detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and irregularity logs.
Assist in enforcing company rules and regulations to maintain order on the premises.
Escort employees, visitors, or contractors when necessary for safety purposes.
Cooperate with law enforcement and emergency responders when required.
Conduct routine inspections of doors, windows, gates, and equipment to ensure security measures are functioning.
Working Conditions:
Shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Indoor and outdoor assignments depending on site requirements.
May involve exposure to stressful or emergency situations.
