Job Summary Under the general guidance and supervision of the Supervisor and Shift Leaders and within the limits of established policies and procedures, to conduct and implement the overall security of the Resort. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Know and demonstrate commitment to Pulai Spring Way including PSR Mission and values.
  • Handle member inquiries and requests with care, open communication.
  • Know and implement Resort\xe2\x80\x99s Occupational safety and Health procedures, Fire Emergency and Emergency response Procedures to protect members, guests, visitors and associates.
  • Use and maintain operational equipment with care.
  • Keep work environment tidy and neat.
  • Present and neat, clean and professional personal appearance at all times when on duty.
  • Maintain high standards of Team work, discipline and professionalism at all times.
  • Ensure communication and information is passed on to the security guard taking over the shift changeover duty.
  • Read the logbook and follow up.
  • Record every activity and actions taken in the daily logbook.
  • Perform any other tasks as required by the Shift Leader, Supervisor and the SM.
  • Monitor and check all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Record movement of associate vehicles in the Associate vehicle movement record sheet and all gate passes.
  • Monitor and control the movement of Part Timers, contractors and casual visitors.
  • Ensure vehicle Entry and Exit passes are issued according to procedures and are recorded correctly.
  • Ensure Outgoing requisition items are checked physically and record full details in the OGR form.
  • Control traffic to prevent traffic congestion and facilitate a smooth flow of traffic through the gates.
  • Record every activity, telephone calls and actions taken in the Security Log book/Diary.
  • Check and Record the daily issue and return of Keys in the daily Key Control Record Form.
  • Ensure no unauthorized personnel are allowed into the Main Gate.
  • Ensure that the gate is not left unattended at all times.
  • Sign the duty Roster logbook to confirm attendance.
  • Do not use the company issued hand phone or land phone at the Gates for personal use. Do not use company property for personal use.
  • Do not leave the Resort during working hours without authorization from the Security Manager / Security Officer.
  • Know all daily events / happenings within the Resort.
  • Be in place of work at least 15 minutes before the stipulated time for brief by the Security Shift Leader.
  • Ensure you are aware of your duty hours.
  • Always be neatly dressed the groomed according to specifications of the Associate Handbook requirements.
  • Ensure you are dressed neat and tidy in full according to procedures during your tour of duty.
  • In case of inability to be present for your tour of duty, keep the shift leader, Supervisor or The Executive informed as early as practicable prior to your start of duty.
  • Do not fraternize or speak to other associates while on duty unless the matter involves official business.
  • Do not discuss sensitive security matters with associates unless cleared by the Security Manager / Security Officer.
  • Do not accept gifts or foodstuff from Members, visitor\xe2\x80\x99s or guests.
  • Conduct patrolling at places in the manner ordered by security regulations and your superior.
  • When conducting mobile patrolling on motorcycles within the premises or the Golf Course area, do not speed and ensure that Golf etiquette are followed.
  • Do not carry pillion while engaged on duty within the Resort.
  • Be familiar with the operation of Fire fighting equipment, security and safety equipment found in the Resort.
  • Ensure Amano clocking is conducted diligently.
  • Be familiar with traffic control procedures. Ensure you wear a traffic vest, whistle, torch light or baton light (as necessary) when engaged in traffic control.
  • Assist members, guests and associates to get a parking space and ensure vehicles are parked systematically.
  • Ensure safety of parked vehicles against theft by continuous foot patrolling.
  • Attend to any traffic accidents within the Resort area as directed by the attending supervisor.
  • Greet members and guest with a smile and proper salutation for dignitaries as per SM\xe2\x80\x99s instruction.
  • Provide immediate assistance to emergency situations.
  • Ensure no vehicles other than those designated by the SM are parked at the Social centre and sports centre lobbies.
  • Check all doors, obstruction at fire exits, broken structures and windows and monitor the activities and functions that take place within the complex.
  • Conduct night inspections diligently and submit accurate reports to the Shift leader.
  • Ensure harmonious and safe working environment by:
  • Preventing fights among guests, members, associates.
  • Assist in good housekeeping.
  • Monitor and prevent acts of strikes, pickets etc.
  • Inspect vehicles, persons, areas and buildings focussing on:
  • Usage of Drugs.
  • Attempts to steal and stealing of Resort properties.
  • Stealing / attempts to steal members, associates, guests belongings.
  • Pilfering of food items, petroleum and oil lubricants..
  • Attempts to steal documents and any other property of the resort.
