A day in the life of...

• Orchestrate monthly meetings, daily briefings, and coordinate closely with Security Service Providers
• Analysis of security-related incidents, identify gaps and determining root causes. Execute solutions accordingly, ensuring a strategic and effective approach to security management and collaborative efforts with service providers for a well-rounded and resilient security framework
• Oversee and evaluate monthly Security Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as stipulated in the security vendor contract.Act as bridge between Market Security Lead and ground teams at Shah Alam factories site
• Ensure the coordination of employees\' security awareness program on-site.
  • Communication of Security Awareness at factories - Ensure that employees are well-informed about the significance of security measures in maintaining a secure environment.
  • Regular Self-Assessments - Conduct regular self-assessments to proactively identify and address potential security vulnerabilities, contributing to a proactive and preventative security approach.
  • Collaboration with Auditors: Collaborate with both internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with security standards, providing a management-level perspective to ensure a holistic approach to security.
  • Implementation of Corrective Actions:Implement corrective actions based on audit findings, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing overall security measures in a strategic and managerial capacity.
• Security System Management
  • CCTV & Access card system - Ensure Security system is monitored for any malfunctions or issues, ensure preventive maintenance is established for each location and Implement cost-effective measures.
  • Conduct regular assessments of the CCTV system\'s performance to identify potential issues before they become costly problems.
  • Review sites security system proposal and work closely with factories to ensure the deployment and the requirement is according to Nestle Group Security expecatations.
• Actively monitor innovations in the security technology industry, to ensure that Nestl\xc3\xa9 is up to date with new developments.
  • Responsible for assessing and measuring effectiveness and performance as regards physical protection security systems suggested by technical suppliers.
  • Responsible for advising, pro-actively the MSM on the selection, briefing and performance-monitoring of technical security equipment and external suppliers.
• Responsible to conduct annual Site Security Assessment with MSM based on previous assessment and new physical installation/change on site such and have contigency plans to mitigates identified risks.
  • New Threat or Risk exposures to people,asset and reputations.
  • Security Optimization i.e. maximization of resourced available without compromising security.
  • Improvement and innovation on best security practices and security enhancement.
  • Ensure all security incident is reported and to work closely with factories management and MSM to recitify the incident.

• Minimum Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Security Management, Criminal Justice, )
• Proven experience in security management, with a focus on factory or industrial settings.
• Strong crisis management skills with a track record of successfully handling security incidents.
• Project management experience, including planning, execution, and evaluation of security projects.
• Law enforcement background is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and the ability to adapt security protocols accordingly.
• Planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies. Controlling the security operations budget, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes.
• Supervising, recruiting, and training security personnel. Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
