Summary
Customer Service \xc2\xa7 Provides a courteous and professional service at all times. \xc2\xa7 Handles guest and associate enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up. \xc2\xa7 Assists with Host duties as requested and required due to operational needs. \xc2\xa7 Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Operational
\xc2\xa7 Works closely with other colleagues in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests. \xc2\xa7 Works in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments, in a spirit of \xe2\x80\x9cWe work through Teams\xe2\x80\x9d. \xc2\xa7 Patrols front of house, back of house and plant rooms to ensure the safety, security and comfort of all guests and colleagues. \xc2\xa7 Patrols public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment. \xc2\xa7 Conducts enquiries and checks on all security and fire related incidents and submit initial reports. \xc2\xa7 Avoids unsightly hazards and complies with all local regulations and codes. \xc2\xa7 Ensures effective energy conservation measures in areas of operations . \xc2\xa7 Ensures fire, life and safety systems are operational. \xc2\xa7 Performs emergency procedures relating to fire, life and safety; e.g., such as attending to fire alarms, lift rescue. \xc2\xa7 Reports any abnormal conditions noticed at any time in line with safety related equipment or installation to Team Leader \xe2\x80\x93 Security and Maintenance and/or the Manager on Duty. \xc2\xa7 Assists other Hosts with duties throughout the hotel when requested by Supervisors.

Other Duties
\xc2\xa7 Attends and contributes to all training sessions and meetings as required. \xc2\xa7 Completes Welcome to Hyatt Training for new Hires and Learning Activities within first 90 days and review as needed. Exercises responsible behaviour at all times and positively representing the hotel team and Hyatt Hotel Corporation. \xc2\xa7 Maintains strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organisations. \xc2\xa7 Reads the hotel\'s Associate Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel\'s rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to computer resources, fire, hygiene, health and safety. \xc2\xa7 Ensures high standards of personal presentation and grooming. \xc2\xa7 Responds to changes in the maintenance function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel. \xc2\xa7 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
