Senior Accounts Executive (manufacturing)(shah Alam)

Job Description
The role requires you to be in charge of full sets of accounts and reporting. The role is reporting to the Finance Manager.
This role would require you to: * Oversee comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, including account reconciliation and closing procedures.
- Generate and assess accounting reports to present a summarised view of the company\'s financial position.
- Contribute to financial forecasting and assist in budget preparation.
- Support in preparing financial statements and handling tax-related duties including audits and returns.
- Collaborate with external partners such as auditors, the company secretary, and tax agents.
- Participate in finance system implementation and system enhancements
- Uphold internal control measures, manage departmental administrative tasks, and execute additional duties as directed by Management
A successful candidate would be required to possess the following:
- At least a university degree in accounting or business administration, or Chartered, Certified or Certified Professional Accountant is accepted.
- Minimum 2 years of handling full sets of Accounts
- Preferably one who has handled large volume of transactions
- Preferably one with previous Manufacturing/Industrial experience in MNC
- Previous external audit experience would be an added advantage
- Strong fundamental accounting knowledge and proficiency in MS Office particularly in Excel.
- Detailed-oriented, independent, a good team player, and able to handle tight deadlines
