Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures for Active Directory (AD) administration to enhance system performance, ensure optimal responsiveness, and protect the integrity of the Bank's directory services and data.
Lead and manage a team of IT professionals in daily operations and project implementation, including training and mentoring.
Implement corrective action plans to address and remediate vulnerabilities identified via risk assessments and vulnerability scanning on AD.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to AD to assess the effectiveness of security controls, and continuously implement improvement processes to enhance system performance and security.
Manage and optimize DNS configurations to ensure reliable name resolution and connectivity across the organization, including monitoring DNS performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for DNS security.
Develop and enforce GPOs to standardize configurations, enhance security settings, and manage user and computer policies across the AD environment (servers/PCs), ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for AD services, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
Create and maintain documentation related to AD configurations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
A recognised Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
Minimum 5 years of experience in AD administration, with a proven track record of implementing and managing AD solutions in complex IT environments
In-depth knowledge of AD architecture, Group Policy, and DNS management, along with a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Hands-on experience with AD management tools and utilities, including PowerShell scripting for automation and optimization of directory services. Other experiences such as managing VMware, Azure Cloud services, Azure Active Directory and hybrid cloud environments will be an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess AD issues and recommend effective solutions
Achievement of any professional certifications related to AD will be an advantage, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Proven ability to lead and manage a team
Good interpersonal and communication skills
