Job Description
Client: A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production company.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Type of hiring: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Maintain PSC and JOA to maintain compliance and the protection of the company\'s ability and rights to operate in Malaysia.
- Maintain Unitization Agreements, including redetermination exercises.
- JVPs and other interaction and information exchange.
- Resolve any disagreements or conflicts with JVPs and other stakeholders.
- Organise and oversee the logistics of JVPs and other meetings, such as SOCM, MCM, and TCM.
- Prepare and consolidate SOCM, MCM, and TCM presentation packs.
- Minutes of Meetings for SOCM, MCM, and TCM
- Prepare correspondences to communicate or secure approval from JVPs and other
- Focal for Non-Operated Asset.
- A university degree (or equivalent qualification) in engineering, finance, or law.
- At least 10 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
- Experience with Production Sharing Contracts, Joint Operating Agreements, and Sales Contracts.
- Previous experience in commercial negotiations and economics.
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in negotiating oil and gas contracts.
- Fluent in both oral & written English.
