• Provide internal advisory for the RHB Banking Group for accounting related issues which cover the areas of implementation of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, training and other financial matters.
• Provide guidance on new business initiatives to ensure compliance with the MFRS 9 and Group Accounting Policies and subsequently, to concur on the accounting entries and treatments.
• Support the financial reporting team on accounting and financial statements disclosures matters.
• Actively involved and fully participate in internal Group projects

• Ensure compilation and generation of the respective information and various reports are timely and accurate for submission to management, business units, internal team, regulatory bodies and internal/external auditors
• Ensure compliance to policies, procedures and guidelines set by BNM/Regulators
• Provide internal advisory for the RHB Banking Group for accounting related issues which cover the areas of implementation of accounting standards, regulatory compliance, training and other financial matters.
• Assist to provide guidance on accounting treatments for MFRS 9, for both ECL and EIR, reviewing new accounting policies for the Group and developing implementation phases.
• Keep abreast of the changes in accounting standards, BNM Guidelines, Bursa Listing Rules & Regulations and assess the potential impact on the reporting needs.
• Assist to drive implementation and communicate technical matters to affected people within the Group.
• Assist in identifying areas for potential improvement that may result in efficiency and savings for the organisation with regards to MFRS 9 loan impairment.
• Engage and discuss with Business and highlight potential accounts for monitoring to ensure that further delinquency is capped to avoid loan losses.
• Assist with project management and the roll out, training and implementation of the models within credit and the business team stakeholders.
• Drive project implementation
• Assist in data management for MFRS 9 engine, for all environment covered development, UAT, production and DR.
• Assist in compilation and generation of the respective information and various reports regards Macroeconomics Forecast (MEF)
