To research, analyze, and prepare the production of various types of industry reports on the livestock sector especially on the poultry and non-ruminant sub-sectors, in a timely manner, that would provide fundamental industry intelligence and information to the Bank\'s Management, Credit and Risk personnel with a view of improving the quality of credit assessments.
To conduct knowledge sharing session through seminars/training for Bank\'s staff, particularly Business & Credit personnel.
To prepare industrial updates for the Management Credit Committee (MCC) based on the latest news and development.
Principal Accountabilities:
Delivery of industry reports in a timely manner with the latest information available.
Improve the quality of credit assessment of the Bank by providing fundamental industry intelligence information, specific to the livestock sectors, for facts verification, comparison and decision making.
Conduct knowledge sharing session through uploading the reports into the Bank\'s Intranet & conducting seminars/training for Bank\'s staff, particularly Business & Credit personnel.
Continuous self-development and understanding of livestock industry.
Strive to achieve the desired minimum rating stipulated by the Bank based on bank-wide survey.
Info/data gathering, research, and analysis for the preparation & production of reports i.e., Independent Industry Assessments, Industry Assessment Reports, Agro-industry Outlook, Agro-Industry Updates, Industry Alert Reports.
Info/data gathering, research, analyze & prepare for Management Credit Committee (MCC) updates e.g., industry outlook, current issues, Government strategic plan, etc.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Preferably MBA or Bachelor\'s Degree in Agriculture (Animal Science) or Agriculture Science or Science in Agribusiness, or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years in related field industry, particular in the agriculture livestock sector.
Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
Advanced knowledge in related agriculture field industry and key economic sectors in Malaysia.
Able to work under minimum supervision and meeting deadlines.
Possess good writing and presentation skills.
Good in Microsoft Office tools.
