Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Application Developer to join our growing Group Technical Delivery team. As a Senior Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and governing enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft technologies, while supporting the establishment of a Workflow & Automation Centre of Excellence.
This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with sound architectural judgment, balancing scalability, maintainability, technology choices, and cost-effectiveness to determine the most appropriate solution design. You will also be responsible for managing stakeholders and supporting governance frameworks for workflow automation, under the guidance of your direct manager.
You will work across the full Microsoft ecosystem, including Azure Cloud & A.I services, Power Platform, and SharePoint, and will have opportunities to attend Microsoft corporate trainings and tenant-specific technical events.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain digital solutions using Power Platform, SharePoint custom sites, and cloud applications to improve workflow efficiency and optimize business processes.
• Build and maintain custom APIs and connectors, integrating with third-party and internal enterprise systems.
• Be collectively responsible for the governance and management of Power Platform and SharePoint environments, including site collections, content types, metadata, and permission structures.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and provide strategic recommendations for workflow automation solutions.
• Act as a key liaison between IT and business teams, ensuring clear communication of requirements, progress, and delivery outcomes.
• Engage with Heads of Department (HODs) to present workflow and automation strategies and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
• Convert and migrate existing Nintex K2 low-code workflow solutions into hybrid solutions (Web Application + Power Platform), ensuring seamless operations and minimal disruption to current processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including technical designs, process flow diagrams, and user guides.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, driving technical excellence and best practices within the team.

Job Requirements

• Strong expertise in web MVC or object-oriented application development, with hands-on experience in frontend and/or backend architecture (Must).
• Solid understanding of API development and integration, including REST, Microsoft Graph, and OAuth (Must).
• Experience with Dataverse and relational data modelling (Highly Preferable).
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, A.I Builder) (Preferable).
• Understanding of prompt engineering with strong logical and analytical reasoning skills.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with SharePoint Online, including site provisioning, lists/libraries, permission models, and web parts (Preferable).
• Exposure to Azure services and cloud-based architectures (Preferable).

Education

Years of Experience

• Minimum 5 - 8 years of relevant application development experience, with proven exposure to enterprise-scale systems, solution architecture, and workflow automation platforms.
• Prior experience in senior level roles, including solution ownership, stakeholder management, and technical mentoring, is highly advantageous
