Job Description

Job Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end software development lifecycle and support for projects, quarterly change requests, and L3 production fixes transitioned Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, and support software solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define functional and non-functional requirements. Provide technical solutions for Payments, Real-Time Data Services, and Open Banking APIs, focusing on customer entitlement workflow and payments data repository. Lead the L3 support team, ensuring application stability, code fixes, and coaching junior members. Partner with the group domain team to plan and manage project delivery and change requests. Serve as the point of contact for technical resolutions and manage incident, problem, and knowledge management processes. Coordinate with third-party vendors for application fixes and deployment to ensure quality, stability, performance, and capacity. Provide regular updates and reports to management. Work with stakeholders to prioritize the overall book of work against team capacity. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in methods, tools, people, architecture, project management, and governance. Job Requirements The ideal candidate should have broad experience in operating large-scale and complex solutions: Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders (both at working levels and management) across business and technical teams. Prior experience in highly secure environments (e.g., financial services) with a solid understanding of security, audits, encryption, 2FA, or multi-factor authentication (MFA). Experience in application development and operations of complex integrated application solutions (online and batch integrations): Mandatory: RHEL (or other equivalent Linux distributions), modern Java microservice-based application development stack (Spring Boot, ORM Framework like MyBatis), experience with database management systems (preferably Oracle), and Shell Scripting. Experience with JBoss application server will be an added advantage. * Experience with Apache web server will be an added advantage. Experience in implementing file conversions (e.g., text to XML and vice versa). Experience in Agile and DevOps practices will be an added advantage. Domain knowledge in corporate banking applications and payments platforms will be an added advantage.
