Our opportunity for you:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join the Invoicing & Collections team on a full-time basis as Senior Assistant Accountant

Purpose of the role:

This role assists the Senior Manager/Manager in Invoicing & Collections team in day to day finance activities

Scope:

The main objective of this role is to provide the Billing & Settlement end to end process

Function of Invoicing & Collection (IC) Team
  • Operate as part of Finance SSC
  • Responsible for the Billing & Settlement end-to-end process
  • Responsible for on-time processing of all billing and settlement requests
  • Ensure accurate posting of receivable transactions to support management and financial reporting needs
  • Responsible to liaise with internal & external stakeholder to resolve any billing & settlement dispute
  • Monitor bank transactions and ensure all incoming transactions are booked timely with adequate proof of payment details
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and on-time invoice posting and settlement of client invoices
  • Checking the data input in the billing system to ensure accuracy of final invoice & settlement update
  • Provide good quality customer service to internal customers from invoice issuance to settlement status
  • Received incoming payment from various payment method and perform due diligence checking for credibility
  • Perform cash application of customer payments and clearing of associated bank transactions in SAP and ViewPoint
  • Liaise with banks directly to resolve issues as needed
  • Provide support, as needed, to facilitate the on-time completion of internal and external audits, MEC tasks and other adhoc request.

  • Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, committed, good interpersonal skills, with a strong desire for growth and career progression
Relevant Experience
  • Diploma / Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
Computer proficiency in MS Office Application
  • Experience in SAP ECC or SAP HANA system will be an added advantage
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English
