Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage transactional legal work, including drafting and reviewing complex contracts and agreements. Provide legal support and guidance on M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and contract negotiations. Oversee project management to ensure timely and successful completion of legal transactions. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and external counsel to advise on legal strategies and compliance. Offer insight and guidance on Fintech and TMT regulatory issues, particularly in relation to emerging technologies and digital assets.

Requirements

Key Requirements

Degree in Law with a valid Malaysian Bar Practising Certificate and a minimum of with min. 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate/transactional law. Well-versed in handling M&A, commercial contracts, and corporate advisory matters. Familiarity with Personal Data Protection, Fintech, Intellectual Property (IP), and Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) is an added advantage. Proven records in managing files and clients independently, with minimal supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while being a team player in a fast-paced environment.
