Our office is located conveniently next to the Subang Jaya SS15 LRT and walking distance from KTM Komuter station. It just takes 1 minute to walk to the LRT station.

As a Backend Developer at IT Paradise Solutions Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the backend of our applications. You will collaborate with our front-end developers, designers, and other team members to create seamless and efficient web & mobile solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing and implementing server-side logic and APIs for Web & Mobile applications. Collaborating with the front-end development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability. Building reusable code and libraries for future use. Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Troubleshooting and resolving software defects and issues. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

At least 3 years of relevant work experience is required. Be ready to join and contribute. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven work experience as a Web Backend Developer or similar role. Proficiency in server-side programming languages such as PHP, Node.js, Python, or Java. Experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Ruby on Rails). Strong understanding of databases, both SQL (e.g., MySQL, Ms. SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB). Knowledge of RESTful API design and development. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular) and how they interact with the backend. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of microservices architecture. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of web security best practices.
