A Brief Overview
Provides business analysis services and/ or project management services to Business Administration Operations assigned projects or initiatives. This position under limited supervision is to work closely with the stakeholder group and project teams to gain in-depth understanding of, processes, infrastructure, road map and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding the capabilities needed to address business challenges. Support the Director of Project and Change to define, deliver and report benefit realization KPI and metrics for Asia Administration Operations portfolio of projects and initiatives.
What you will do
Responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational and technological risks. Identify opportunities to optimize and improve efficiency.
Support administration system development cycles.
Analyse, test, and verify IT proposed solutions for client data administration.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for Asia IT.
Provide project management services to assigned regional projects (mid-sized), including AI initiatives.
Produce project management and project management office documentation (detail project plan, Project Charter, Project Budget& Finance tracking, Project Status Report, RAID log, PMO& COO Dashboard, Benefit Realization KPI and metrics for Asia Administration Operations portfolio).
Manage resources and drive issue resolution, negotiating stakeholder needs and expectations.
Articulate ideas to management and peers; facilitate meetings and lead presentations.
Develop communication processes to keep stakeholders updated on project results.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in business, Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Information Technology, or a related field required.
7+ Years related experience such as business analysis, project management, project management office, demand management, etc required.
5+ Years in a Financial Institution or 2 years in insurance/ reinsurance industry required.
Exposure to project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) required.
Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) or hybrid project delivery methodologies preferred.
Advance investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills. required
Ability to quickly adapt to new methods, work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions. required.
Ability to set individual and team goals and handle multiple tasks, clients, and projects simultaneously; Ability to appropriately balance priorities, deadlines, and deliverables required.
Strong oral and written communication skills demonstrate the ability to share and impart knowledge required.
Strong interpersonal skills required.
Time/effort tracking and financial reporting tools required.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel required.
Experience with data management/visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, ETL, Python) preferred.
CBAP or equivalent business analysis certification/qualification preferred.
Agile Scrum or SAFe certification / qualification preferred.
