Position: Senior Buyer Salary range: Depend on last drawn salary & experience Work location: Puchong, Selangor Reporting to: Senior manager - Project & Procurement Dept: Project Role Summary: Responsible for sourcing of vendors, negotiating, issuance of Purchase Order and material tracking until goods are delivered to shop and accepted by QC. Indeed, ensure vendors are pay as per Purchase Order terms & provide guidance to buyer for daily operation function. Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyse & prepare overall procurement plan for project materials. To track material from Purchase Order (PO) issuance up to the delivery of material to shop/site. \xe2\x80\xa2 To source of material from approved vendors as per client\xe2\x80\x99s or MDMSB requirement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Tabulate Commercial Bid Evaluation, evaluate of vendors and make recommendation based on technical compliance as per project requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Negotiate with several vendors on terms and conditions prior PO issuance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with Project Team/Engineering/QA for technical clarifications leading to issuance of Purchase Order. \xe2\x80\xa2 Issuance of Purchase Order and follow-up/expedite suppliers for timely delivery of material as per Purchase Order terms required. \xe2\x80\xa2 To make sure all project materials are supplied with proper certificate as per project requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure invoice is receive and payment is processed in timely manner. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor & evaluate vendor performance and inform QA to reaudit if necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop new vendors from time to time and request QA to audit vendor prior PO issuance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide guidance to buyer for daily procurement operation function. \xe2\x80\xa2 To perform any other related duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior/management from time to time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Job Requirement: \xe2\x80\xa2 Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/Management/Supply Chain/ equivalent professional courses \xe2\x80\xa2 7 years and above relevant work experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refining, chemical, mineral processing, and pharmaceutical, fabrication industries \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible, result oriented, interactive, good team works About The Company : The company is a strategic joint venture between company in Japan and fabricator\xe2\x80\x99s company in Malaysia.
