We are currently seeking a Senior Channel Sales Representative to join our HCE team in our Kuala Lumpur office. Reporting to the GM, HCE Connected Building.

Fast-Paced, Semi-Autonomous Role, managing (planning and executing) all aspects of OEM Channel Sales, Marketing, Customer service, Technology promotion & support and product delivery throughout the covered areas - requires significant level of business travel mostly interstate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support existing customer base as well as qualify suitable new partners
  • Directly report to the country or APAC Sales Leader
  • Directly measured by revenue target achievement and customer satisfaction
  • Operate with a high level of integrity and adhere to company values
  • Understand the growth strategy (STRAP) of the country and region, and execute it throughout the covered areas
  • Process driven & outstanding organizational skills
  • A proficient understanding of Sales and Technology
  • Be a leader & key Salesperson in the covered region
  • Develop new business opportunities by leveraging internal & external customers, priorities opportunities and execute and convert them into real business
  • Be an expert with respect to the region, including focused market/Industry, product, technology and competitive landscape
  • Ability to brief and provide training to customers in the regions
Key Experience & Capabilities:
  • Bachelor\'s degree or above with strong technical background in a field like computer or software, Automation Control or HVAC equipment, etc.
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Engineering, etc.
  • 8+ years of experience in Building Automation, IBMS, HVAC equipment management, Automation Controls in Commercial or Industrial markets, etc.
  • A proficient understanding of software architecture concepts. Ability to explain them in both technical & general terms
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-managed, good teamwork, proactive and strong execution
  • Customer-driven and service attitude.
Key Points
  • Integration/Building Automation system industry background, about 8+ years of experience
  • Account, Channel management or Channel marketing experiences
  • Understanding of market technology, challenges & trends
  • Passion for Niagara/Open technology
  • IT/Software background is a plus.
