What requirements you'll need to be eligible
Technical Skills

• Expert in Azure IaaS & PaaS: ACA, AKS, Azure Functions, API Management etc

• Proficient with Terraform, GitHub Actions (or similar CI/CD tools), Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity federation (SAML, OIDC), and secure cloud design.

• Experience with Dapr, Event-Driven Architecture, Kafka, or Service Bus.

• Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

• Exposure to enterprise networking (VPN, ExpressRoute, VWAN) and hybrid connectivity.

Professional Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in cloud engineering with at least 3+ years hands-on in Azure.

• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, insurance).

• Proven ability to lead design reviews, root cause analysis, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Azure Certified: Any associate and expert level certification nd Git-based workflows.

What you'll be doing on the job

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native and hybrid-cloud solutions using Azure services

• Drive the implementation of infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, aligning with GitOps and CI/CD principles.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps (ACA)

• Implement service mesh, ingress controllers, and secure microservice communication.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure cloud platforms meet regulatory and organizational compliance (e.g., RMiT).

• Collaborate with security teams to implement identity federation, MFA, private endpoints, and conditional access.

Monitoring, Reliability & Cost

• Implement observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Log Analytics).

• Drive platform resilience (HA/DR), and manage cost optimization initiatives (e.g., rightsizing, reserved instances, budgeting alerts).
