Ensures bids & proposals are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs. As the custodian of bids and proposal, you will collaborate with extended stakeholders (i.e., sales, tax, contract management, finance, project, engineering, product & leadership) and ensuring all risk review processes, assessments & approvals are adhered/documented in the preparation of commercial proposals. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Business \xe2\x80\x93 Hub Asia Region. The position is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: \xe2\x80\xa2 Formulating competitive bids & proposals, considering best available solution / product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing the preparation of all technical (e.g., defining the most suitable technology and product type(s)), financial (e.g., total price sheet, cash flow analysis) and if necessary, project management (e.g., quantifies hours of engineering and commissioning) aspects of the bid/estimate/quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions. \xe2\x80\xa2 In accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, ensuring that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and according to established quality procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Managing external services to support bid/estimation preparation such as translations and governmental approvals. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collecting and archiving documentation regarding the offer/order and recording assumptions and decisions taken during the development process. \xe2\x80\xa2 Regularly reporting the status of the bids/estimates/quotations using defined tools and collecting and analyzing the reasons for tenders being lost and won. \xe2\x80\xa2 Identifying potential risks in the bids, and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. \xe2\x80\xa2 Providing information and/or participating in the Risk Review process in accordance with ABB policy.
