Work you will do

Joining us, you will be part of our Workday Finance consulting team working on multiple industries across Singapore and Malaysia. Deloitte has been recognized globally as Workday\'s top tier Partner for multiple years. Our diverse team allows us to address our clients planning issues from every angle, making an impact that matters!

As a Solution Architect you will apply your knowledge in finance and operations to help our clients streamline their business processes to achieve automation, insights and control of their operations. We will address issues faced by the office of the CFO and support executive level decision makers by developing business processes to answer complex business dilemmas.

As part of the Finance and Performance team, we have a strong group of professionals with extensive skills in data and solution modelling in the context of systems implementation, planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial consolidation processes. The diversity in terms of technical knowledge and experience within our team allows us to apply those skills across a variety of market leading ERP vendors including innovative and emerging platforms from market disruptors such as Workday Finance.

As part of Deloitte\'s Finance and Performance team, you will be leading the way amongst pioneers shaping the course of modern finance in the digital world and assisting clients to accelerate into this new age.

You are someone with

• A well-recognized Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• Professional Accounting Qualification will be advantageous.
• Workday certification is a plus but not necessary
• Min 8-15 years working experience.
• Experience implementing a tier one ERP system including Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, D365
• Dynamic and proactive attitude, i.e. someone who looks to \'get things done\';
• Understanding of project management / project delivery stages and concepts;
• Experience in gathering systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing business solutions;
• Strong functional knowledge of finance systems and processes & / or operational planning. Understands accounting principles and concepts.
• Committed to gaining exposure to multiple industries.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills in English, be self-motivated, and be able to work in challenging situations with changing priorities.
• Excellent problem solving skills, ability to think out-of-the-box, work under pressure and to tight project timelines.
• Drive, tenacity, client focused and results oriented.
• Proven demonstration of sound business acumen, teamwork and leadership qualities.
• Willingness to work outside of office base.
• An appreciation of the consulting lifestyle and ability to travel (both locally and abroad) is a pre-requisite to fit to our short-term and long-term project assignment.
