The successful candidate will be a lead engineer working on projects throughout the Asia-Pacific region.This role requires the successful candidate to:

• Be a subject-matter expert for traction power supply system for both AC and DC electrification systems, and act as a point of reference for the power supply related matter for all undertaking projects.
• Prepare technical documents from concept design up to detailed design for railway power supply systems.
• Proficient operating and interpreting outputs from engineering tools and software for power simulation studies.
• Lead and manage contractors on multi-disciplinary rail systems projects:
• Review and approve designs submitted by contractors to confirm conformance to project requirements and relevant standards.
• Track progress of design and technical-related matters such as submission of technical document, manufacturing drawings, procedures, method statement, and reports.
• Chair meetings including progress, risk, construction, and interface meetings.
• Actively participate in meetings and working sessions internally and externally in resolving technical issues as they arise.
• perform inspections and witness tests for installed assets to validate conformance to project requirements.

Here\'s what you\'ll need:As a key member of the team, you will be expected to:

• With 10 years of professional experience designing, installing and commissioning traction power systems on electrified railways;
• Provide guidance and support to other team members when required;
• Proficient in oral and written communication
• A good team player and flexible to the needs of the project;
• Willing to travel to meet project needs and have previous consultancy experience.
• Keeping abreast with latest technology and best practices within the railway and electrical engineering industry.

The successful candidate is required to hold the following qualifications and accreditations:

• Holds a Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and have a professional engineer accredited with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia.
