We are looking for a dynamic Senior Credit Control Executive to join our team.As Senior Credit Control Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing our credit policies and ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices. You will analyze credit data, and implement strategies to minimize financial risks while maintaining strong customer relationships.Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Management
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of new and existing customers to determine their creditworthiness. This includes analyzing financial statements, credit reports and payment histories.
  • Set appropriate credit limits and payment terms for customers based on their creditworthiness and the company\xe2\x80\x99s credit policies.
  • Approve or reject credit application based on the analysis and ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
  • Collections
  • Regularly review accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
  • Proactively contact customers with overdue invoices via phone, email, or in-person meetings to ensure timely payment.
  • Work with customers to develop and negotiate payment plans that suit both the customer\xe2\x80\x99s financial situation and the company\xe2\x80\x99s needs.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to payments and invoices in a timely manner.
  • Reporting & Analysis
  • Generate detailed reports on accounts receivable, aged debtors and credit control performance for management review.
  • Analyze trends in credit data to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist in forecasting cash flow based on receivables and expected collections to ensure the company maintains adequate liquidity.
  • Process Improvement
  • Continuously review and improve credit control policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate them the company\xe2\x80\x99s credit control processes.
  • Implement and utilize new technologies and software to streamline credit control operations and improve accuracy.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure that all credit control activities comply with relevant laws, regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively identify and assess potential credit risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all credit control activities, including credit assessments, communications with customers, and payment records.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer to foster trust and ensure effective communication.
  • Promptly address any customer concerns or issues related to credit and payment, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with sales team to resolve disputes, understand customer needs and provide support where needed.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Align credit control activities with the company\xe2\x80\x99s overall business objectives and financial goals.
  • Participate in the development of credit control strategies and initiatives that support business growth and minimize financial risk.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking/ Business Analytics, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of credit risk assessment, credit control procedures, and legal compliance.
  • Proficient user of finance software and Microsoft Excel.
