Client Background: A boutique Interior Architecture consultancy established in Dubai since 2006 who creating, refurbishing and rebranding hotels, developing hospitality interiors hand in hand with numerous hotel operators\', brands and their owners around the world. They have expanded their business to Malaysia Named it as Signature Studio (M) Sdn Bhd in October 2019. The efficiency of space with regular planning paradigms being explored to promote uniqueness of design for the client and operator. Industry: Interior Design Location: Jalan Ampang, KL Headcount: 1 Position Title: Senior Designer FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) Tenure: Permanent Responsibilities: .Coordinating drawings from concept phase to construction documentation and specification for interior design finishes. .Lead the FF&E team directly with Design Director and design team. .Develop and execute the FF&E direction for overall project and communicate to the project team. .Communicate project status to Design Director on a regular basis. .Designing and sourcing FF&E from concept through to finished details .Liaising with contractors and suppliers in order to ensure FF&E is delivered on time and on budget. .Liaising with design and purchasing teams to ensure FF&E is in line with client expectations and to budget. .Participate in the establishment and maintenance of FF&E design standards for the company .Keep abreast of new trends that may influence FF&E design scheme .Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Skills and Requirements: Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in Interior Design or any other design related field. A good portfolio of past design and creative projects especially in hospitality background. Minimum 8 years relevant working experience. Possess good Design skills and knowledge. Possess good problem-solving skills. Creative thinking. Ability to work independently. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with others (Colleague and Clients) Good organisation and time management skills. Possess teamworking, relationship building skills and good to have some leadership skills.
