Job Description

Role Purpose:

Responsible for analyzing the product features, creating customized quality checks, composing and automating test procedures and standards. Responsible to test products prior to their implementation to identify potential problems and ensure quality. Leads a team to accomplish overall goals and objectives.

This role encompasses:

Ability to identify requirement and design gaps plus key details arising from product and technical specification Ability to identify key test details/scope from product, system or technical specifications to ensure testing coverage and traceability Test and prove that the software meets major architectural and product requirements Prove for scalability and performance of a software Ensuring the quality of the product and system as a whole Actively work with product owner and product engineers and various other technology and business stakeholders Develop, write and automate tests for software validation in an agile, fast-paced environment Detect bug issues and software inefficiencies Prepare file defect reports and report test progress with concise summary Troubleshooting any errors and streamlining the testing procedures Ability to verbalize, explain in detail and summarize testing results for view and interpretation Able to lead a team with the ability to assess prioritization and delegation to the team members Collaborates with technology stakeholders to drive and provide a seamless product implementation Ability to lead a team to accomplish overall goals and objectives

Requirements:

The (Role Title: Senior Developer) is expected to exhibit the following skills/abilities:

Essential Skills / Experience

Experience Profile

Min 5+ Years' Experience

Worked extensively in software testing or similar role in an agile/waterfall, fast-paced environment Have a good understanding of agile software development, testing methods and QA standards Experience with project management, SDLC processes, Agile processes and overall IT processes Exposure to testing methodologies and when certain strategies are to be recommended/used Exposed to SQL/database concepts

Desirable Skills / Experience

Minimum of 7 years working in a similar capacity of system software development & testing Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Certification Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) is preferred Experience with testing tools including Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand or LabView Knowledge in Gliffy or similar diagramming tool is a bonus Fearless - not afraid to suggest or back big ideas however disruptive they may be Good knowledge in testing skills (writing test cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs) Critical thinker, analytical, methodical and problem-solving skills in relation to QA management of a product Team player and good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of banking system is a plus Experience in Agile methodology is a plus Focused and willing to take on additional responsibilities & challenges and motivated to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment Independent, proactive and service oriented Experience in a multinational environment and dealing with multi-countries' users is desirable High level of technical writing skills Always willing to query and go beyond with active participation in all aspects of work
