Job Title: Senior Efficiency / Test Engineer

Location: Kuala Lumpur Malaysia [Relocation Must]

Role Purpose:

The

Senior Efficiency / Test Engineer

is responsible for ensuring software products meet

functional, performance, and scalability requirements

before implementation. The role includes designing and automating test procedures, analyzing product features, detecting potential issues, and

leading a team

to achieve high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze

product and technical specifications

to identify design gaps and key test details. Define

test coverage

to ensure all system components are validated. Conduct

functional, performance, and scalability testing

of software applications. Collaborate with

product owners, engineers, and business stakeholders

to align testing strategy. Develop, write, and

automate test cases

in a fast-paced Agile environment. Identify, document, and report

defects or inefficiencies

. Prepare concise

test progress reports

and summaries. Troubleshoot errors and optimize testing procedures. Lead and mentor a

team of test engineers

, prioritizing tasks and delegating effectively. Ensure QA activities comply with

SDLC standards

and

best practices

. Introduce efficiency improvements in testing processes and tools.

Requirements: Essential Skills / Experience

Competency Minimum Years

Software Testing / QA in Agile or Waterfall environments Understanding of software development, testing methods, and QA standards Exposure to SDLC, Agile, and overall IT processes Testing methodologies and strategies SQL / Database concepts

Desirable Skills / Experience

Bachelor's Degree in

Computer Science / IT

or equivalent. ISTQB / CTFL certification preferred. Experience with testing tools such as

Selenium, JMeter, Apache, TestStand, LabView

. Familiarity with diagramming tools like

Gliffy

. Strong

test case design, execution, bug reporting, and verification

skills. Excellent

analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving

abilities. Knowledge of

banking systems

is a plus. Agile methodology experience is preferred. Experience in

multinational environments

desirable. High proficiency in

technical documentation and reporting

. Independent, proactive, and able to perform under

high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM9,500.00 per month

Experience:

Software Testing: 3 years (Required) Apache, Selenium, JMeter, TestStand or LabView: 3 years (Preferred) SQL/database concepts: 3 years (Preferred) project management, SDLC processes: 3 years (Preferred)
