Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical EHS expertise for factory and facilities system procurement. Define and communicate EHS requirements and expectations to suppliers through standard purchase specifications and other contract documents, and provide on-going technical support throughout the selection process. Own and manage the completion of EHS deliverables for each factory process transfer. Identify/prioritize/close transfer issues/findings identified during EHS assessments; document and communicate learnings to receiving site EHS organization. Provide EHS input to factory tool install and facility system design and specifications. Ownership of tool installation factory EHS equipment signoff specification and checklist. Perform process hazard analysis (PHA's) on new high hazard chemical systems and ensure appropriate controls are integrated into system. Ensure meets OSHA requirements for process safety management of high hazardous chemicals and other application regulatory requirements. Partner with industry associations to influence EHS regulations & standards that may impact technology development and building/tool design.
Requirements:

5-10 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Relevant EHS certifications [Safety and Health officer (SHO) & Radiation protection officer (RPO)] are required. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian environmental and safety regulations. Proficiency in EHS management system (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), RBA, etc. Proven track record in developing and implementing effective EHS programs.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
