KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review the technical design of power system studies, transmission, distribution lines, substations and electrical works for front-end engineering of transmission system
• Manage the design of substation/switchyard, building, transmission line configuration and line route
• Ensure design specifications are in accordance with SEB standards and specifications
• Manage consultants, internal/external stakeholders
• Embed SEB system requirements, criteria, planning and operation standards, guidelines, and requirements for user system connection to the Sarawak grid system
• Power evacuation system assessment, cost estimate, scheduling, and optimization
• Responsible for staffing supervision and administration
• Provide guidance to team members on compliance, grid operation, power system studies, and more
• Provide coaching for peers and participate actively in promoting Sarawak Energy\'s KFAs (Digitalization, Commercial Excellence and Project Delivery Excellence)
• Power system study & power system design experience is an advantage

QUALIFICATION:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant working experience

SKILLS:

• Technical skills in the field of power evacuation transmission system and project management
• Possess knowledge with IEE Regulations, The Electrical Rules and Sarawak Electricity Ordinance
• Utilize simulation software to perform steady state and dynamic simulation, load flow and short circuit calculation
• Leadership skills with the ability to think strategically and manage change
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Able to plan, schedule, manage resources and priorities
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills including report writing
