PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • As a crucial member of the IAP organization, the Integrated Activity Planner provides vital support to the Head of Malaysia Sabah Asset and Functional Leads in prioritizing and integrating activities across short-term (1 year), medium-term (5 years), and long-term horizons to ensure optimal delivery of the business plan.
  • Develop and consistently update the Integrated Asset Plan (IAP) for up to 5 years, aligning it with business objectives and operational requirements, with a specific focus on Post FID, FIP, and Modifications projects.
  • Oversee and ensure the success of brownfield projects, achieving project objectives and production delivery by closely collaborating with the Projects & Facilities, Drilling & Completion, Procurement & Contracts, and Operations teams.
  • Conduct regular analysis of asset performance, reliability, and availability, identifying areas for improvement and optimization on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operation, maintenance, subsurface, drilling and completion, and project) to formulate integrated asset plans, considering factors such as maintenance schedules, production targets, project schedules, and resource constraints.
  • Utilize advanced planning tools and software to model scenarios, assessing the impact of different strategies on asset performance and production targets.
  • Leverage data visualization techniques to implement interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders, enhancing the accessibility and usability of IAP to facilitate decision-making.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted asset operations and minimize downtime.
  • Actively participate in asset-related meetings, contributing insights, recommendations, and updates on planning activities.
  • Liaise with maintenance and operations teams to coordinate asset availability and schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to production.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation within the asset planning function.
  • Provide mentoring to less experienced onshore engineering support staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Possesses an honors degree from a university or its equivalent in Engineering, preferably in the engineering field.
  • Minimum of 13 years of relevant industry experience in oil and gas, with a significant focus on asset integrated planning.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using planning software and tools, with a preference for prior experience in Primavera.
  • Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both in spoken and written forms.
  • Preferred background includes prior knowledge and experience in managing technical matters related to either operations or subsurface areas.
