Job Description

:Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, planning, and managing the production of engineering drawings.
• Design road and highway alignments using computer-aided design software, including MX Road, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
• Manage and ensure that designs are constructible, practical, cost-effective, and compliant with technical guidelines and client requirements.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals and recommendations for related projects.
• Conduct preliminary site assessments, prepare design options, and develop cost estimates and preliminary design reports.
• Prepare design analyses, detailed designs, quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, design drawings, and detailed design reports.
• Provide technical input for tender documents, specifications, designs, and drawings; attend tender clarification meetings.
• Review and comment on design reports and engineering drawings, and prepare recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of contractual documentation for contract documents, including additional or revised designs and construction drawings.
• Help prepare letters, reports, data inputs, presentation decks, and other necessary documents.
• Assist in monitoring project progress and highlighting potential issues.
• Support quality control efforts to ensure the completeness of deliverables in accordance with requirements.
• Undertake any other tasks as requested by the CEO, HOD, or Line Manager.

• Bachelor\'s degree specialized in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of overall work experience in Road and Highway Design.
• Possess specialised design software, MX Road, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Malaysian regulatory standards and codes.
