Air Liquide Malaysia is looking for a Senior HSE Engineer who will be based in Petaling Jaya and is responsible for the improvement of safety performance within the Company to foster and sustain safety culture. You will be also responsible for implementing the Industrial Management System (IMS) and continual improvement of Quality Management System (QMS), Security Management and any other task that falls under HSEQ scope.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• To advise on the measures to be taken in the interests of safety and health of the persons employed and environment in the place of work.
• To inspect and determine the hazard and risk in relation to process, occupational and road safety in our operation or pollution to the environment.
• To investigate any accident, near-miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which has happened in the place of work.
• To assist in organizing and implementing process, occupational and road safety and health programme at the place of work.
• To assist the safety and health committee in any inspection of the place of work in compliance with the Act or any regulation made under the act.
• To collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at the place of work.
• To manage regulatory & business compliance by handling matters in relation to local authority & customers.
• Manage administrative work, data reporting and generate reports for HSEQ related scope (Health, Safety, Environment, Security, Crisis management, data protection etc.)

Are you a MATCH?

• Degree in Occupational, Safety and Health or Engineering
• Minimum 3 - 6 years of working experience in Occupational, Safety and Health
• Being a DOSH registered Safety and Health Officer or OSH Coordinator, registered CEPSWAM, having ISO QMS/EHSMS/OHSMS experience, process safety knowledge will be an added advantage
• Good written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Team player, independent and good problem-solving skills.
