KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible and accountable as a team member working closely with the Project Delivery team for the interest of the Asset Owner as an effective and efficient project technical support including feasibility studies, tender design specification preparation and proposal evaluation, ensuring contractor and vendor\'s design to compliance and testing/commissioning of plants/equipment.
• To plan and manage the development of power plant project; goals and deliverables with stakeholders; acquire resources and budgets, and manage team members, consultants, contractors and vendors to meet project deliverables and targets.
• To ensure projects are completed on time in compliance to statutory requirement, good engineering practices and within contract specification for satisfactory operation and maintenance.
• Plans for project technical needs including implementation schedule and performs evaluation of options, provides technical coordination to project activities implementation to ensure work results/objectives are being met.
• To coordinate and interface with other disciplines including leading in conducting and initiating review meetings related to construction matters.
• To coordinate with the project team, authorities and regulators, consultants, contractors and vendors on the project including schedule of works, commissioning and handing over.
• To ensure that the project\'s process documents are issued and complete; accordingly update and current, and are properly registered, categorised, filed and archived.
• Participates in technical meeting including updating project technical progress report regularly and interpret/prepare engineering schematic single lines and drawings.
• Provide response to document reviews within agreed timeframe.

QUALIFICATION:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Universities or Institutions of Higher Learning recognized by MQA/JPA;
• Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia;

SKILLS:

• Possessed knowledge in project management.
• Possess minimum 4-6 years experience working on the technical and engineering aspects of power systems and power plant projects in the various project phases (concept, engineering and construction).
• Experienced in managing power projects and in the various project phases.
• Knowledge in the use of project management knowledge, methods, techniques and practices to plan, monitor, risk mitigate and take corrective actions to deliver objectives on time, cost, quality and safety.
• Good in analytical skills and in related knowledge and use in the prioritising of tasks, and in decision making and problem solving.
• Wide knowledge to develop best practices in related areas of work processes.
• Good in written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skill, planning & organizing capability.
• Computer literacy and skills - office software (word, spreadsheet, presentation, pdf).
• Able to work in a highly pressure and fast-paced environment.
• Possess knowledge with IEE Regulations, The Electrical Rules and Sarawak Electricity Ordinance.
• Able to read, interpret and analyse engineering drawings including other disciplines such as civil and mechanical.
• Possess professional initiatives, positive, proactive and integrity attitude.

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:

• To perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure.
• To perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
