Our Piping & Layout in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is now looking for a Senior Engineer I \xe2\x80\x93 Piping Stress

What will you be doing?

• Take responsibility for completing a set of activities within a project/assignment with adherence to COMPANY and project procedures
• To effectively manage design change as per Project\'s MOC procedure To manage assigned tasks complete with final engineering deliverables within defined project guidelines, policies & procedures, principles, precedents/practices and relevant international code & standards
• Create relevant technical manuals and define relevant technical processes & work instruction/checklist
• Collaborate with internal customers and suppliers in relation to resolve issues effectively
• Support tender technical input activities
• Responsible in mentoring and guiding junior team members
• Review and approve documents and drawings produced by Engineers
• Provide accurate engineering output and technical information to ensure informed decision making

We think you should have:

Qualification and experience

• Possess a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• 13 years\' experience in the Oil and Gas/ Petrochemicals Industry
• Minimum 10 years\' in piping engineering
• Professional Engineer certification with the Board of Engineers Malaysia or equivalent preferred
• Familiar with design codes and standards for O&G, latest design engineering and analytical techniques/software
• Experience in leading small project team
• Able to execute effectively piping system stress modelling and analysis for various type of piping systems by using CAESAR II
