Job description
In your new role you will:

• Proactively checking network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Provide technical support as needed to maintain network operation objective
• Provide expert level knowledge for WAN, LAN, Wireless, DHCP and network security
• Assist departments throughout the organization in understanding and implementing network solutions in cost effective and align with business objectives.
• Write and manage tools for network equipment deployment and remediation
• Works closely with other network engineers and cross-functional teams to review, execute technical designs and provide technical direction.
• Evaluate, define and develop new and existing reference standards, as well as their adoption, in order to successfully on-board services with speed, quality and efficiency.
• Participate in an on-call (24x7) support rotation with other members of the Network
• Develop written procedures, engineering drawings, and other technical documentation.

Your profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor\'s Degree with emphasis in an IT related field or the equivalent skill
• Network equivalent experience or Cisco Certifications preferred
• Experience in supporting enterprise level networks and infrastructure deployments
• Strong hands-on experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, including: firewalls, routers, switches, and Windows DHCP server.
• Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
• Experience working with Wireshark and Packet tracer.
• Strong hands-on experience in EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, and other routing protocols
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology.
• Ability to work under pressure involves dealing with constraints that are often outside of your control.
