Job Description

In your new role you will: Proactively checking network performance and ensure system availabilityand reliability. Provide technical support as needed to maintain network operation objective Provide expert level knowledge for WAN, LAN, Wireless, DHCP and network security Assist departments across the organization in understanding and implementing network solutions in ways that are cost effective, and align with business objectives. Write and manage tools to automate related to deployment and remediation of network equipment. Works closely with other network engineers and cross-functional teams , review, execute technical designs and provide technical direction. Evaluate, define and develop new and existing reference standards and their adoption, to successfully on-board services with speed, quality and efficiency. Participate in an on-call (24x7) support rotation with other members of the Network Develop written procedures, engineering drawings, and other technicaldocumentation. Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor\'s Degree with emphasis in an IT related field or the equivalent skill Network equivalent experience or Cisco Certifications preferred Experience in supporting enterprise level networks and infrastructure deployments Strong hands-on experience in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices , including: firewalls, outers, switches, and Windows DHCP server. Experience working with Wireshark and Packet tracer. Strong hands-on experience in EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS, and other routing protocols Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently, including technical concepts and terminology. Ability to work under pressure involves dealing with constraints that are often outside of your control.
