Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and coordination of civil infrastructure works including

earthworks, drainage, road, and utility systems.

Develop and review

water supply network designs

, including

articulated and pressurised pipeline systems

. Perform hydraulic and water network modelling using

WaterCAD

(and other related hydraulic analysis software). Prepare detailed engineering drawings and models using

AutoCAD, Civil 3D

, including alignment, profile, and cross-section design. Supervise and guide junior engineers and CAD technicians in preparing design deliverables. Conduct technical reviews to ensure designs comply with authority standards and project specifications. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities for design submissions and approvals. Prepare design reports, hydraulic calculations, and construction documentation. Review contractors' shop drawings, material proposals, and installation methods for water pipeline works. Ensure timely completion of design deliverables and effective technical coordination across disciplines.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Civil Engineering or equivalent (Master's degree is an advantage).

Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)

; Professional Engineer (Ir.) status preferred. Minimum

5-8 years of experience

in civil and infrastructure design, particularly water and pipeline systems. Proficient in

AutoCAD Civil 3D

for civil and infrastructure modelling. Skilled in

WaterCAD

for water supply and pipeline network design and analysis. Familiarity with local authority standards (SPAN, JKR, etc.) and relevant codes of practice. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication and reporting abilities. Able to work independently, manage multiple projects, and provide technical leadership. Proficiency in Mandarin as an added advantage East Malaysians are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
