Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mill Engineer or Senior Engineer to join our team at PH PALM EXPRESS SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Penawar Johor. As a Mill Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of our palm oil mill, ensuring the efficient and effective running of our production processes.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of the palm oil mill, including monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary adjustments Developing and implementing maintenance plans to ensure the mill's machinery and equipment are well-maintained and operating at optimal efficiency Ensure the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) running smoothly such as reservoir, sand filter, clarifier and water source for quarter's area. In charge Empty Fruit Bunch (EFB) evacuation section. Arranging the Maintenance Breakdown Record (MBR) from issue date to closing date Managing and in charge of the maintenance and electrical team Providing technical guidance and support to the mill's operations team Participating in the planning and execution of projects and equipment upgrades

What we're looking for

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar mill engineer or senior engineer role, preferably in the private palm oil mill Strong technical knowledge of palm oil mill operations, equipment, and maintenance Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Has 2nd grade steam cert. is an added advantage Training to become competence person in mill operation. Familiar with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
