About The Role:

This role is 100% remote: you can work from anywhere, with team members mostly based in Mumbai or Malaysia. You will be working on a highly challenging initiative that takes a legacy monolithic system and transports the clients to a new platform. You will manage a team of 10 people supported by multiple teams and product owners on projects and corresponding. You will be working on PHP, MySQL, AWS services like lambda, ECS, S3 etc. You will be managing the team that has won the internal team of the year multiple times.

This Is What We\'re Looking For:

• Run a fully functional engineering team, responsible for all aspects of delivering software, including QA, operations, development, and schedules for successful product delivery
• Responsible for ensuring sanity of architecture, advocacy for operational excellence and quality, delivering high quality results on time
• Develop process improvements, share expertise with others, mentor and continually strive to improve overall contributions.
• Oversees the development, implementation and execution of multiple projects ensuring scope and schedule are established for projects
• Engage with software architects and lead developers across product development teams, mentor, and prototype systems for modernization of new and existing applications.
• Work closely with Scrum master and assist in Sprint plannings/estimation
• Work closely with Products team regarding enhancements, optimizations for existing applications/platforms
• Engage all concerned stakeholders regarding Application Monitoring/Support and Architecture platform
• Establishes the proper resource allocation for the department, including prioritization and staff deployment
• Acts as a coach for the team members, both at a technical and behavioral level

Experience:

• 15+ years of JEE programming experience; 6+ years of experience in architecting JEE/Open-source application/ JEE containers
• 8+ years of management experience, leading software engineers\xe2\x80\x99 team in a fast paced company
• Experience leading Agile / Scrum teams and projects to deliver working software iteratively with quality
• Experience in designing solutions / good analytical and troubleshooting skillset/ think out of box methodology
• Experience with cloud AWS/ Azure architecture design
• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns
• At least 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 REST/web services experience (API)
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and assistance to direct reports
• Driving project delivery
